Lady Gaga brought her show-stopping stage “Mayhem Ball Tour” 2025 MTV VMAs. After winning Artist of the Year earlier in the evening, Mother Monster turned in a special rendition of “Abracadabra” and the live debut of her new single “The Dead Dance” from Madison Square Garden. Watch the replay below.
Gaga most recently delighted her “little monsters” with “The Dead Dance,” taken from the soundtrack to the delightfully spooky Netflix show, Wednesday (Gaga guest stars as character Rosaline Rotwood in the show’s current second season). The new song brings disco dance vibes to the dark pop found on her most recent album, Mayhem.
The pop star is set to charge through the North American home stretch of “The Mayhem Ball Tour,” with a three-night stand in Toronto before wrapping it up with three nights in Chicago. Get tickets here.

The tour has already delighted Nancy Pelosi, with the Speaker Emerita calling a San Francisco show she experienced from the pit “The most fun I’ve had in a long time.”
It was also during a San Francisco show when Gaga paid tribute to fallen heavy metal legend, Ozzy Osbourne, by wearing an Ozzy t-shirt and blasting one of his classic tracks, “Crazy Train,” at the close of the set.
Back in May of this year, the singer made history with her show at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Pulling an estimated 2.5 million to the free event, she now holds the record for the highest attended concert by a female artist in history. The show went on after police in Brasil thwarted a suspected terrorist who planned on setting off a bomb attack during the concert. Once in custody, the suspected bomber revealed that he believed Gaga was a “Satanist,” and that she planned on ritualistically killing a child during the show.
